The "Riverdale" star, who is married to Kelly Ripa and starred in "All My Children" for years, charged toward his son Joaquin's opponent after they were involved in a scrum during the match.
In the 42-second video, Consuelos came storming on the mat to defend Joaquin, after his headgear was ripped off by his opponent. Mark Consuelos, 48, ultimately had to be held back and directed back to the stands by another adult.
In the clip that was released to TMZ, the man taking the video can be heard shouting, “Oh wow. No way. what are you crazy, or what? Be cool, it’s only a (expletive deleted) high school wrestling match.”
According to TMZ, Kelly Ripa was also in attendance at the match and “kept her cool while her husband rushed to their son’s defense.”
The kids involved ultimately shook hands and continued their match, which Consuelos’ son lost.
Mark Consuelo, meanwhile, was “visibly upset, leaving the gym for a few hours to cool off before eventually returning to the all-day tournament.”
